The Lodge nestles on a plateau overlooking the beautiful Hanmer Springs valley of the Spencer mountains, Waiau, Hanmer and Percival rivers and beautiful rural farmland. It has large established and spacious gardens, and a large outdoor deck, all with these spectacular panoranic views. A true relaxing and tranquil atmosphere.

It is a unique lodge offering 5 bedrooms for guests, with either King or Queen beds, your own modern private bathroom, including a spa bath in our most popular room – the Alpine Spa Room. Also there are large lounge areas, a stone log fire, pool room, satelite Sky TV, laundry facilities, and a computer with Wi Fi for your use. Owner, Robin & John have their own private cottage on site too, so never far away. 

Wake up to the song of the Bellbird and later watch them at the bird feeder having breakfast, lunch and dinner! The rural setting allows you to see the lambs next door frolicking around, or the calves lazing in the field. It also allows you upmost privacy. 

Riverview Lodge employs a chef, offering you scrumpous cuisine after your busy, fun day. Dietry preferences can be catered to, but prior notice is always appreciated, to ensure the correct food is ordered.
